Disclaimer in regards to PMS

For all of you who had wonder what was going on.
I apologize for my delay but there has been many other priority that I
needed to take care of. I appreciate your continuous support.

To found = to establish a foundation or the basic thing of. (In Latin,
Fundere) To found synonymous: to create, to establish, to organize, to
institute. According to these meanings we will study the "foundation of
PMS" There was no concept designed or tangible by the person who
declares solid founder of this project. When they became the proposals
for this project there was possible date, hour, no place and when PMS
was going away to program.


If we take a look at the
synonymous: to create, to organize, to establish. The CREATION of PMS,
was not generated by one person. Designing a logo and a name does not
mean the concept of a project it is only one slight part of the
identity. What concerns with the true intellectual concept of the
project was not created by just one single person. It was polished and
written by two and later personified to offer a unified presentation.
The philosophy of "PMS" is very similar to my previous projects that
many of you have known Anamorphosis example, Double AA Thursday etc...
With that in mind I invite you to make your deductions.

ORGANIZATION:
There was several meetings to culminate a plan, concept, based on what
this project was to aim and deliver, in which the only thing that I was
not in charge was of the graphic design. I've already had the coarse
experience of almost 6 years organizing events with a vast amount of
listings, contacts and connections of my part which were not provided
by anyone. All the works were done with people who either previously in
one way or other knew me. When this so called sole founder approach me
to discuss the possibility of working together, it was even about a
company it was regarding an event just that and than the whole PMS came
about. After several meetings, an agenda of diverse services was
revolve which I had previously worked within all those fields such as:
organization of events, trade and costumer service online, image
consulting, photographs, public relations, etc. So deducing that aside
from being the sole financial supplier, I also serve as the mentor for
the development and continuation of it. So we are seeing from where the
base for this project comes. It is necessary to give merit to which it
deserves it, but as a co- founder of a project declared them self to be
the sole founder who drew up and single handedly generated this project
proves lacks of professionalism and a lack of respect. There were two
people who founded this project logo design or not that another
subject. I do not want to be egoistic and to say that I always was the
one in charge of everything with this project since I had other
responsibilities aside. I didn't have a problem in the beginning,
sharing the work but as the project settled in and it became known and
talked about, it seems as it became a priority to take credit or merit
on what it was been achieved. Until the abrupt approach of the so
called sole founder of PMS there was always an unclear and unbalance of
responsibilities shared.

POLITICS.
Supposedly this project
began and concluded as a project with two heads the elaborated for the
sole purpose of this company. The product began in one world and ended
in another marked buy the final result which a decision made by two.
Art is free / without limitations, it has wings and transfers the
firmament. We focused in different cultures and the concepts were
discussed based on the client. So there was no single person employed
to the case, project or product. In one way or other different tasks
were assigned and carried out by both members delegating the outcome of
a final project. The pattern of this project was to establish contact
and between several diverse types of music and art and serving as a
guide for the independent artist in this vast community.


DEFINITIONS
To coordinate is to put something in order. All assignments were mutually
delegated therefore it did not have a coordinator in specifics. A
Founder or Director is in charge of spreading, to establishing and
creating... Take these definitions in account and make a conclusion
based on these. In order to finalize that when PMS these terms, agreed
upon by both members, on word of mouth, there was no desired for
monetary compensation. At least from my part and I was the one
investing, I would like to Let it be known, that I wasn't looking for
money, it was never for my own personal benefit but counting towards
the growth of the project and for the person in who's word I believed
and gave the opportunity to grow and network through this project
through me. This PMS project is done with and dismantled. The purpose
of this disclaimer is to let it be known that this person which whom I
began this project with, saw the opportunity and took an opportunistic
approach in furthering her hidden agenda and wants to take the sole
owner ship of a project that has been already establish and that I
called a lack of creativity and lack of word. For one should be able to
start its own without using others. But regardless stay tune, in alert
because there are many more interesting projects coming your way.
P.S.
Remember to consult an attorney or legal references before ever
establishing a project with another person because as I have recently
learned people are never as good as their words and no one should be
taking advantage of your hard work and dedication.

De acuerdo a estos significados estudiaremos la "fundación de PMS"

No había ningún concepto diseñado o tangible por la persona que se
auto declara fundadora sólida de dicho proyecto.
Cuando se hicieron la propuestas para dicho proyecto no había posible
fecha, hora, lugar y cuando PMS se iba a programar.

Si vamos a los sinónimos, crear, organizar, establecer. El Nacimiento
de PMS, No fue engendrado por una sola persona.
El diseñar un logo y un nombre no significa el concepto de un proyecto
es una leve parte de la identidad o personalidad de por si.
Lo que concierne con el verdadero concepto intelectual del proyecto
fue pulido y escrito por dos persona y después personificado para
brindar
una presentación unificada.

La filosofía de "PMS" es muy parecida a mis proyectos anteriores como
todos saben ejemplo Anamorphosis, Double AA Thursday etc…
de ahi pueden ir cogiendo una deducción.

ORGANIZACION

Fueron bastaste reuniones para culminar un plan de entrega basado en
este proyecto en lo cual lo único que yo no me encargaba era del
diseño grafico.
Yo ya tenía la basta experiencia de casi 6 anos organizando eventos
con un basto listados de contactos y conexiones de mi parte las cuales
no fueron proveídas por nadie.
Todos los trabajos fueron hechos con personas que ya previamente de
una manera u otra me conocían.
Cuando dicha persona se acerco a mí para discutir la posibilidad de
trabajar juntas ya yo tenia una plena agenda de diversos servicios que
yo me encargaba: organización de eventos,
mercadeo y costumer service online, consultoría de imagen,
fotografía, relaciones publicas, etc. Así que deduciendo de que
aparte de ser la proveedora financiera de dicho proyecto
servia como punto de enlacé en muchas transacciones ya que era yo el
punto de referencia. Así que vamos viendo de donde viene la base. Hay
que dar su merito a quien se lo merezca
pero de auto declarase fundadora de un proyecto si ser la persona
quien allá trazado y engendrado un proyecto por si sola es una falta
de profesionalismo y un falta de respecto.


Fueron dos personas entonces. No quiero ser egoísta y decir que yo
siempre fui la encargada magna de todo lo que pasaba con dicho
proyecto ya que yo tenía otras responsabilidades aparte.
Al principio no era problema, el compartir el trabajo pero como llego
a un punto donde el proyecto se reconoció y se estableció ahora lo es,
cada problema tiene su solución, lo único que no lo tiene
es la muerte.


POLITICA
Supuestamente este era un proyecto de dos cabezas. Todo pasaba de un
mundo para el otro y se botaba en el resultado final. El arte es libre
sin limitaciones, tiene alas y traspasa el firmamento.
Nos enfocamos en diferentes culturas y los conceptos eran discutidos
basados en el cliente. Así que dado al caso el trabajo nunca fue de
una sola persona.
De una manera se auto asignaban o se delegaban los pasos a tomar para
cumplir con cada proyecto. El patrón de dicho proyecto era establecer
una comunicación entre diversos géneros de músicas y el arte.
Aparte de proveer como guía para artistas independientes en su mayoría.


DEFINICIONES
Coordinar es poner en orden. Algo que se hacia mutuamente o se
delegaba por lo tanto no habían una coordinadora en especifico.

Encargada de difundir, establecer, crear…

Tomen estas definiciones muy en cuenta y hagan sus conclusiones. Para
finalizar cuando se inicio PMS lo mas importante era que se estuviera
de acuerdo en trabajar sabiendo que no había dinero de por medio.
Pierdan el cuidado, Yo si no andaba buscando dinero para mi beneficio,
si no para el beneficio de un proyecto en el cual creí y en la persona
en la cual le di la oportunidad de que le conocieran a través de mi.
Así que dicho de paso para mi este proyecto a muerto, si la personas
fueran honestan consigo mismo iniciarían proyectos nuevos pero ya que
hay que ser oportunista en la vida hay que agarrarse de las costillas
de los demás.
Estén en alerta que vienen muy buenos proyectos por camino y recuerden
que antes de establecer un proyecto consulten un abogado para que no
le resten de ingenuos.

“PMS” (No se asusten, no es el Síndrome Premenstrual) responde con sus iniciales a: Phunkadelic Music Society; una organización que se encarga de fusionar el Arte y la Música para evolucionar la vida a respuestas que no necesitan ser comprobadas, encargándose de organizar y promocionar Eventos (Management,Relaciones Públicas, Media Package, Concepto de Diseño, Diseño Gráfico para Artistas en todo el sentido de la palabra) que mantengan a flote los altos stándares previamente impuestos por la necesidad de mover al mundo a un estado consciente de lo que pasa en nuestro ambiente “Soy lo que soy”; haciéndolo partícipe de la magia que se produce en el fenómeno de la interacción perfecta.

Orgullosamente anunciamos el nacimiento de nuestro primer bebé Phunkadélico, invitándolos al viaje de encontrar que es eso tan atractivo para las personas que siempre están buscando algo más, sacándole el más mínimo valor a cada particula de nuestras vidas. La energía no se detiene, nos movemos por ella, y en Phunkadelic Music Society estamos regidos por esa ley divina.

Queremos hacerlos parte de nuestras acciones con nuestra primera Exhibición de Arte, apoyando a todos los Artistas que necesitan ser escuchados allá afuera; teniendo el honor de inaugurar así nuestra Organización. Luego seguido tendremos la presentación de dos DJ`s de Música Electrónica (House Music), ambos dominicanos con un respeto ganado y muy merecido en el Movimiento de Música Electrónica de nuestro país; Lunic que reside en New York (Babylon`s Kiss, Slanted Black Records, Ecotone), y Mr. Very residente en Miami( Latitud Records, nuestro primer Record Label de House Music en RD) para romper este nuevo año en un antes y después de “PMS”.

Lunic is Phunkadelic!

DJ/Producer Lunic has been involved in dance music and its surrounding industry since he played his first party in 1987. This native New Yorker of Dominican decent picked up on early 80's house music through mix-tapes and neighborhood block parties. The influence of DJ Tony Humphries' Saturday night radio show on Kiss FM made it easy for Lunic to decide on making his relationship with House music a life-long adventure.

Fast forward to 1990...the under-aged, Lunic seized the opportunity to play one of NYC's most legendary nightspots, Danceteria. He then went on to be resident at Lynx (currently 2i's) in downtown Manhattan. In 1993 Lunic headlined a Friday night at the infamous NYC nitelife staple, Limelight. Receiving a roaring round of applause at closing made promoters take notice. Shortly thereafter he was offered a Saturday night residency in Limelight's Red Room. This weekly exposure led to a barrage of east coast bookings, travel abroad as well as several residencies throughout the NYC area. (see venues played)

Having gone international since 1996, crowds have repeatedly witnessed Lunic hawk his goods in exotic locations in Peru & the Dominican Republic. Seeking an independent outlet for his own music, Lunic has produced his own events in New York City such as Culture, Get Real and critically acclaimed Babylon's Kiss.

On the production side, Lunic is as comfortable in the studio as he is behind turntables. He is frequently revamping chart-topping tunes, stripping them of their commercial traits as he adds an "underground" touch. Lunic also fervently produces original tracks which run across a varied spectrum of genres. Highlighting his production credits are his "Cerebral Rub" mix of One Step Beyond & "We Beg Your Pardon America" the ep., "La Danza", "Perception Examined" all on One Step Beyond records. His "Bang On Target"ep on MFS records has received major play from top-rated djs the world-over including Danny Tenaglia, Junior Vasquez, John Digweed, Eric Morillo & Corvin Dalek, to name but a few. The "Bang On Target" release made Lunic the first US artist to be signed to legendary progressive/trance/techno record label from Berlin.

Lunic is currently working with several collaborators such as Pink Tangas, Wilson Santos for productions releases in 2003. DJ/Producer Freddy Valerio has also teamed up with Lunic (as Lunic Y Valerio) to create "Soul of Being" for a release on Sifted Recordings. Heeding the call of his roots, Lunic will also debut some solo organic deep house projects transcending his origins in this genre we call House.

His truly seamless mixing style and endless repertoire of live sampling and remixing techniques can only compliment his trademark fusion of dance genres. He'll remind you of the classics while catapulting you into the future. Ready for the ride?

DJ/Producer/Remixer:: Mr. Very has been "beating up" Clubs in the Electronic Scene in Dominican Republic since 1997, starting within: a New Age on the Underground Era. By the hand of legendary Underground Dominican Djs like Francisco Ortiz and Charlie Hawk, he discovered his passion for house music, and by 1999 he had a name in the club scene in Dominican Republic, producing his first track "Tabaco & Ron Remix", and with gigs all over House Music Clubs. Inspired by his caribbean roots rhythms, like Salsa and Merengue, but he likes to call himself a music BLENDER, from Depeche mode, Petshop boys, Hip-Hop, Rap, to Gustavo Cerati , Basement Jax, Sergio Mendez, Carlos Valera and New Order; "Music is MUSIC, is up to you to decide how to feel it".
